CARD-IN-A-BOX WEEK - Happy 60th Birthday - The Crafty Spark

CARD-IN-A-BOX WEEK - Happy 60th Birthday

This week I thought I'd spend each day showing you some of my card-in-a-box creations and on Saturday I'll give you a full tutorial of how you can make one yourself.  These cards most definitely have the WOW factor so if you want to send a card to impress - this will certainly tick the box!

Today's card was made for a 60th birthday as you can probably see from the card!  Bright colours in pinks and oranges was the request.....

I often get people asking me "do they fold flat?" or "how do I post it?"  Well the answer is - depends!!!  Some do and some don't!  It's all down to the number of elements or decorations on the card and also whether they are flat decorations or more 3D type decorations.  This card did fold flat of a fashion although not very well as you can see!  I think if you're going to make one yourself, the first thing you need to ask yourself is are you going to post it and how big does it need to be?... You'll read more about this on the tutorial coming up on Saturday.

So what do you think?  You like?? Check back tomorrow for my next car-in-a-box showcase :)
