Something for a Beautiful Baby Girl - The Crafty Spark

Something for a Beautiful Baby Girl

Hello everyone, what a glorious day it is today!  The sun is shining, the birds are singing and my lovely neighbour has given birth to a beautiful baby girl :)  I love doing baby cards, they make me feel all happy inside hehe.  Ready to do this one with me...... then let's go!

Crafty Recipe

8" blank card base
Celebrate Baby Stamp Set
Something for Baby Stamp Set
Baby's First Framelits (not a necessity but will make cutting out easier)
Itty Bitty Baby Stamp Set
Banner Punch
So Saffron Ink Pad
Crumb Cake Ink Pad
Pink Pirouette Ink Pad
Pink Pirouette Card
Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper
Buttons, string and some gems to decorate

To Do......

Stamp your pram from the Something for Baby stamp set in So Saffron and either cut it out or if you have the matching Baby's First Framelits set and a die cutting machine, run it through this to cut it out (so much easier!).  This set is so lovely, it really is and the great thing is if you buy it as a bundle from me you actually get 15% discount too :) (item number 136791)

Stamp your sentiment and cut this out also mounting it onto a larger mount cut out of Pink Pirouette.  I used a framelits set I already had to do mine but it would look just as good cut square shaped or any shape come to that!  To give the same effect, cut your Pink Pirouette so that you have at least  1/4" allowance all round the outside of your sentiment.
Stamp your Itty Bitty Baby set out and punch out with the Banner Punch.

Create your banner and add buttons to each end so it gives the effect of being strung across the card.
The sentiment is stuck in the centre of the card and the pram fixed with Stampin' Dimensionals (I love these!) so it gives more of a 3D effect to the card.
Cut your Pink Pirouette 1/4" bigger than your front card layer that you've just finished, layer them together and then stick them onto your card base.

And there you go, one beautiful card for a beautiful baby girl :)
