Pretty in Pink Cantilever Picnic Box Tutorial - The Crafty Spark

Pretty in Pink Cantilever Picnic Box Tutorial

I really wanted to do something girly when I designed this picnic box and, sounding modest I know, I think I've really achieved my goal with this one.  There's something romantic about picnic's isn't there (well the kind I was thinking of anyway, not the muddy Glastonbury type ones!) and I really hope you agree with me when I say I LOVE how this Cantilever Picnic Box has come out :)  Watch the video tutorial below to see how it's made (sorry about the giggling fit in the second one!)

As mentioned in the video, here are your cutting sizes:

Large base box: 11 1/2" x 8 1/4" - one of these
Base box lids:  5 5/8" x 6 7/8" - two of these
Upper boxes:  7" x 8 1/4" - two of these
Upper box lids:  6 1/4" x 6 7/8" - two of these
Support arms:  4" x 3/4" - eight of these
Handle: 1" x 12" (or 11" or 11 1/2") - two of these

and your score lines:

I always do one at Christmas for my youngest children so a bit nearer the time..... around October probably, I'll show you how you can adapt this into a Christmas one with Christmas trees and snowmen on the top.  As promised in my video, if I've got a chance, I'll do a Halloween one too (although don't 'count' on that one!..... get it.... Count...... as in Count Dracula..... no?? oh ok then hehe)
