OSAT Blog Hop - Tic Tac Toe - The Crafty Spark

OSAT Blog Hop - Tic Tac Toe

What an honour!  I have been invited to be a guest on the One Stamp At A Time April Blog Hop.... WOW AM I EXCITED :)  So welcome to April's Tic Tac Toe One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop I'm so pleased you decided to visit as there are so many fabulous crafters taking part!  Don't forget to click 'Next' at the bottom of this post to continue on to Wynne's post.

Trying to decide what to do for this hop was a bit tricky.... you see with Tic Tac Toe you need to choose three squares all in a row don't you?  Well I wanted them all!!!...... decisions, decisions?????  Well my final line ended up at Brads, Sequins and Dots and I've used combinations of all of those throughout the project..... talking about my project, I decided to do one that I had originally shown on my blog months and months ago.  I'm quite proud and humbled to be able to say it was a huge success!  This time, I'm bringing you an updated version with a full video tutorial :D  The video won't be here today as I wanted to show you the photos but if you come back on 16th April you can see how it's done in full technicolor glory.  To make sure you don't miss it subscribe to my Blog or my YouTube Channel to be notified as soon as the video is available.

As an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator my immediate choice for this project was the gorgeous Designer Series Paper Birthday Bouquet and the matching Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.  I used the Birthday Blooms stamp set to make the Hallett Bag... now if you've never heard of the Hallett Bag it's one of those creations that once you see it you never forget it!  I'll tell you all about it in the video coming up ;)  To go in the bag is this gorgeous exploding box card with a little something special hiding in side....

Undo the bow, take off the lid and the sides fall down to revel the hand made CUPCAKE :)  I've used pins and sequins for the 'sprinkles' on top of the cake and a length of organza to make the frosting or icing as we call it in the UK.

The inside panels have been stamped using the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.  The small flowers were coloured using Stampin' Up! inks and a Stampin' Up! Blender Pen - you can see how to do this in the upcoming video along with all the different products I used.

This is the finished card.... do you like it?  I do hope so :)  You can see to the right of the photo the small card with the balloons on that I made which fits nicely in the little pocket - just adds that finishing touch and gives you something to write on.

Here you go.... the full ensemble!  A Cupcake Exploding Box Card with a beautiful Hallett Bag to present it in :)  The video coming up on the 16th April will show you how to make this adorable project so make sure you come back then to see what's coming :)  You can subscribe to my Blog or my YouTube channel to make sure you are notified as soon as the video is released.... or should I say videos as there is a series for you to look forward to as well!
