Stampin' Up! Embossing Paste - so easy to use!
Just grab your palette knives, choose your colour, mix it up and spread it out :)

I have to admit, I was a bit tentative when I first started using the Stampin' Up! Embossing Paste. It's not something I've used before on cards and was a bit nervous of how it would work. If you feel the same FEAR NOT!!  OMG it's just soooo easy and so simple to use - I absolutely LOVE it and ended up making five cards with it :) I'm only showing you two of them today so make sure you come back and visit me soon to see the rest of them.

They may not look it but both of these cards used products from the Delightful Daisy Suite.  The first card is probably quite obvious actually as it has a big daisy on the front hahaha but the other one.... did you see what I used? When I made this first card I decided I wanted to pick out one of the more subtle colours and use it for the brick effect created using the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. There are a number of colours I could've gone for that coordinate with the Delightful Daisy Suite but it just had to be Pool Party, definitely one of my all time favourite colours :)

I wasn't really happy with the gold or silver colour of the Faceted Gems as the centre of the daisy.  What to do? Colour it with a Sharpie of course!

I've gone for more of a shabby chic look on this card by using the Burlap Ribbon as a flower. It's very simple to do.... just pull one of the outer 'strings' and as you do, gather up the ruffle and shape it into a spiral.  Glue it down, add something in the middle and voila - one burlap flower :) I used some of the petal shapes from the Touches of Nature Elements on the card as well but the bit I like best.... the Stampin' Up! Embossing Paste of course! To get the ombré effect on the bricks start of with the natural paste and then quickly go over some of it using some extra pasted tinted with one of our Ink Refills - Blushing Bride in this case.... very subtle but very pretty.
