Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Naturally Eclectic

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Lea Denton - Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Naturally Eclectic

Welcome to another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop :) This month the Stamping Sunday Design Team are showcasing the Naturally Eclectic Suite and as always we have some wonderful projects to show you! You are currently at the blog of Lea Denton in the UK (just in case you get lost!) and when you get to the bottom of the photos you'll find the links to the other Design Team members taking part this month.

I decided to push the boat out with this suite and have made a concertina mini album that can hold up to nine photos. The album measures 4" x 4" and was easily made using three strips of 4" x 12" cardstock glued together with a further 4" wide strip to act as the cover. Here are some close ups of the inner panels...

I used some of the beautiful Peekaboo Peach Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and Gold Mini Sequin Trim wrapped around the album to act as a closure. The sides have been scored multiple times to ensure there was enough room for the album to take the photos and still close.

I'm going to give this as a gift so will be making a box to put it in at some point. I'll post the photos of that when I get round to doing in but in the meantime, I have made a card to go with the album.

Can you see the leaf embossing in the bottom left corner? That was made using one of the dies that comes in the suite. Many people have been a bit confused by this little die expecting it to cut but if you feel it, what would be the cutting edge is actually very blunt and rounded. I've circled the embossing dies in the image below for you so you can easily see which one's they are.

I really hope you've enjoyed my projects today :) Make sure you click on the other links below to visit the other members of the Stamping Sunday Design Team!
