Eastern Palace Suite for the Global Design Project #GDP084

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Lea Denton - Eastern Palace Suite for the Global Design Project #GDP084

This week's Global Design Project is a great one... CASE the Designer!  Now usually, in the Stampin' Up! crafting world, CASE would mean 'Copy And Share Everything' however in this instance, it is 'Copy And Selectively Edit'.  And the Designer we've been asked to CASE?  Only the fabulous Michelle Last!  You can see Michelle's card above with mine next to it... I've changed the colours (obviously!) and gone for a opulent theme rather than naturalistic but other than that it's pretty much the same - oh except I moved the sentiment!

I've used some of the new suite of products that Stampin' Up! have released from the upcoming Annual Catalogue.  The suite is called Eastern Palace and you can order it as early as 1st May.  You can see more about it HERE and HERE.  Wondering why the Sharpie's are in the photo?  Scroll down a bit and I'll tell you :)

Included in the Eastern Palace Suite are some absolutely beautiful VINYL stickers.  Not the usual peel off stickers but actual super high quality vinyl stickers.  To make the flower you see in the frame I put one of these stickers on some Melon Mambo Cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot.  The die is a perfect match to the sticker shape and due to it's design, leaves a small tab at the bottom of each petal so you can lift the inner or outer to create petals.  I wanted to add a gem to the centre of the flower but a standard diamond one just didn't look right - Sharpie's to the rescue! Using bright green followed by yellow I was able to get a pretty close match to the yummy new In Color Lemon Lime Twist I'd used to back the flower with!

All of the products mentioned in this Crafty Spark post can be purchased from me or if you just fancy a schmooze through my shop just CLICK HERE TO SHOP ONLINE NOW.  Please do remember that if your order is less than £150 to use this month’s Hostess Code which you will find at the top right of my blog below the tab navigation bar and at the bottom of each post.  At the end of each month I add up all the Hostess Codes that have been used, convert them to Stampin’ Rewards and divide this between everyone that has ordered for that month….. which means….. YOU will receive a little something lovely through the post at the beginning of the following month but ONLY if you've used the Hostess Code.  If your order is over £150 please don't use the code to make sure all the Stampin’ Rewards come directly to you (only individual orders in excess of £150 qualify for Stampin’ Rewards). Unsure what to do or need help ordering?  Click HERE or give me a shout and I'll help you out :)   I love to hear what you think of my projects so please feel free to leave me a message in the comments section below.

Until next time......
  Happy crafting with love from
         Lea xx
