Badges and Banners... Feeling Sad and Lonely?

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Lea Denton - Badges and Banners... Feeling Sad and Lonely

What a super project to cheer you up or, even a friend who is a bit down.  The current summer weather is so grey that these delightful projects will bring a bit of pizzazz and sparkle to what should be best time of the year.  You could easily of course change the colours to the autumnal colours of the regal collection....or, what about the classiness of the neutral collection highlighted with just a spot of glimmer paper instead of the foil?
To make it even more cheery why not use the badges as 3d elements on a belly band around a bar of chocolate....I can guarantee smiles will result.

Here's a little tip for you.... see the little flower and leaves? They are from the Touches of Nature Elements embellishments and they usually come in plain wood on one side and white on the other. Well I decided I wanted them coloured which was so easy to do. Take your Stampin' Write Marker pens and colour the white side, leave it to dry and colour again, repeat a third time to ensure the depth of the colour is how you want it to be. Using tweezers, tap the coloured embellishment on your Versamark pad and then dip it into Clear Embossing Powder. Still holding the embellishment with your tweezers, heat it up using your Heat Tool and there you have it.... beautiful glossy coloured embellishments :)
