Stamping Sunday Blog Hop with Perennial Birthday Card Kit spun on it's head!

Welcome to another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop :) This month the Stamping Sunday Design Team are showcasing some alternative ways of using two of our newest kits from the Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue. As always we have some wonderful projects to show you and as an added treat this month we have the wonderful Dani Dziama hopping with us as our special guest!

For our hop this Sunday we've taken either the Perennial Birthday Card Kit (above left) or the Lots of Happy Card Kit (above right), given it a shake up, put it through the creativity muncher and designed some alternative versions of the cards for you. You are currently at the blog of Lea Denton in the UK (just in case you get lost!) and when you get to the bottom of the photos you'll find the links to the other Design Team members taking part this month.

I've made two fancy fold cards for you today. This first one is known as a Diamond Fold card owing to the diamond shape in the middle. It looks quite complicated but it's actually very easy to do. I joined two of the Dapper Denim cards together and used that as the centre. I love the way you can see the plain back and gold foiled front of the cards at the same time.

The centre shape layout is the standard one for this card with a triple bow rather than a single one just to give it that little extra.

How annoying! I didn't realise the bakers twine had caught on one side of the bow before I took the photos! Never mind, let me show you my second card for today...

This card is called a fanfare fold (I think!). I saw something similar on Lyssa Zwolanek's blog a while ago and really wanted to give it a go as I love the way the three panels fall into each other so seamlessly.

Thank you once again for visiting me today. Make sure you click the name after mine in the list to carry on through the hop.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. If you would like to make this project, simply click the links throughout the page to go straight to my ONLINE SHOP to purchase your crafting supplies. Please do remember that if your order is less than £150 to use this month’s Hostess Code which you will find at the top right of my blog below the tab navigation bar and at the bottom of each post.  At the end of each month I add up all the Hostess Codes that have been used, convert them to Stampin’ Rewards and divide this between everyone that has ordered for that month….. which means….. YOU will receive a little something lovely through the post at the beginning of the following month but ONLY if you've used the Hostess Code.  If your order is over £150 please don't use the code to make sure all the Stampin’ Rewards come directly to you (only individual orders in excess of £150 qualify for Stampin’ Rewards). Unsure what to do or need help ordering?  Click HERE or give me a shout and I'll help you out :)   I love to hear what you think of my projects so please feel free to leave me a message in the comments section below.

Until next time......
  Happy crafting with love from
