Stampin' Up! Simple Stamping Vibrant Vases Card

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Lea Denton, The Crafty Spark...

Stampin' Up! was built on the basic fundamentals of STAMPS, INK, PAPER. Nowadays there's everything from adhesives to die cutting and coordinated papers! Now and then though it's good to just go back to basics and just make something using stamps, ink and paper.

For today's project I thought I'd make a very simple notecard using the Vibrant Vases Stamp Set from the Spring/Summer 2019 Catalogue.  This set also coordinates with the Vase Builder Punch in the Annual Catalogue but I decided not to use anything other than the basics today.

Crafty Recipe
  1. Stamp the sentiment in Basic Gray (gray ink) close to the bottom of the card, about 1cm up. This will help to make sure the flowers in the vase aren't too high when you have finished
  2. Stamp the outline image of the vase and then the flowers in Basic Gray
  3. Using Daffodil Delight (yellow ink), stamp the solid infill stamp for the flowers then using the solid infill stamp for the vase, ink up your stamp, stamp it onto a scrap of paper then stamp it on the vase (known as the stamping off technique). This will give you a subtle effect that's really pretty
  4. Finally, using the Lemon Lime Twist Marker Pen from the 2017-2019 In Color Stampin' Write Markers pack, colour in the little leaves at the base of the flower bunch and your done

I do hope you enjoyed reading my post today, until next time......
